What children will practise

Be a responsible digital citizen: understand your digital footprint, think before posting, respect others' privacy, see through false news, tell cyberbullying from joking, and use technology in balance.

What's in the worksheet

6 questions, multiple choice with 3 options each - A digital footprint is the trace we leave online - Breaching privacy: sharing others' information without permission - False news spreads because it stirs feelings and people share without checking - Cyberbullying differs from a joke because it is repeated and hurts - Balanced use: useful without harming other parts of life

How to use it in class

Use in a digital-citizenship lesson, or after an incident in the class chat group. 6 minutes. - Play solo so children answer for themselves without watching friends - For question 5, discuss what to do and whom to tell if a friend says it was just a joke but it hurt - If many miss question 1, search for the teacher's or school's name to show what traces exist - Play it linked to a class and the scores go into the class gradebook.

Common sticking points

- In question 1, choosing files and photos on our device, thinking anything digital is a digital footprint - In question 5, choosing no difference if they say it was a joke, since friends often use that excuse - In question 6, choosing the same time every day, reading balance as equal
