Common sticking points

- "Exploring the rainforest with a toucan" is packed with leaves, vines and a waterfall; Grade 1 children often give up halfway, so save it for confident colourers - The same explorer appears on every page and children change his colours each time; if the book is told as one story, agree on shirt and hat colours from page one - The chest in "finding a treasure chest" holds small, overlapping gems that children often colour as one lump
