What children will practise

Practises putting craft steps in order: a plastic-bottle plant pot, a paper mobile, folding a paper animal, and working as a group, so children see that preparing and planning come first. Fits indicator ศ 1.1 ป.2/3 on making work from different materials.

What's in the worksheet

4 rounds, order 4 steps each - wash the bottle > cut it to shape > decorate with paint > add soil and plant - draw and cut shapes > colour them > thread the string > hang it balanced - get a square of paper > fold in half diagonally > fold the corners in > add details with a pen - discuss what to make > share out jobs > make it > put it together and present

How to use it in class

Use at the start of a lesson before making the bottle pot or mobile for real, about 6 minutes, whole class; then keep the revealed order on the board as the step list while children work. The group-work round suits team mode so groups actually practise discussing and sharing jobs. When a round goes badly, ask "What would happen if we did this step first?" Play it linked to the class and the scores go into the gradebook.

Common sticking points

- Mobile round: "colour" and "draw and cut" often swap since some children like to colour before cutting, which does work. Say the game expects cut first, then colour. - Bottle pot: some put "decorate" before "cut". Point out cutting afterwards would slice through the painted design. - Group work: some put "share jobs" before "discuss what to make". Ask how you can share jobs before you know the project.
