What children will practise

Practises ordering professional art processes: the design process from understanding the brief to developing the chosen idea, curating an exhibition, producing digital work through to exporting the file, and art group work. Supports indicator ศ 1.1 ป.6/2.

What's in the worksheet

4 rounds, order 4 steps each - understand the brief > research and find inspiration > sketch several options > develop the chosen one - set the exhibition concept > select the works > arrange the space > open it and collect feedback - rough sketch > arrange the composition > add colour and detail > export the file for its use - agree the idea together > divide jobs by strengths > work and check in regularly > combine and present

How to use it in class

Use at the start of an end-of-year project such as a Grade 6 exhibition, about 6 minutes, teams matching the project groups. After each round, have groups write their own plan in that order. For a round many miss, ask "Without knowing the brief or concept, how can you choose works or sketch?" Play it linked to the class and the scores go into the gradebook.

Common sticking points

- Design: children often put "sketch options" before "research and inspiration" because they want to start drawing. - Exhibition: "select works" may come before "set the concept", which some curators do in real life; explain the game's reasoning. - Digital: "arrange the composition" and "rough sketch" may swap.
