What children will practise

Practises putting several things in order: administrative units from village to province, the steps of smart shopping, Thailand's seasons through the year, and the steps of sorting rubbish. Supports indicator ส 4.1 ป.2/2.

What's in the worksheet

4 rounds, order 4 steps each - village > sub-district > district > province - decide if you need it > check and compare prices > check you have enough money > decide to buy - hot season > rainy season > cool season > back to the hot season - identify the type of rubbish > put it in the right coloured bin > sell recyclables > dispose of general waste properly

How to use it in class

Reviews several units in one go, about 6 minutes, solo. Before the administrative-units round, have children name the school's village, sub-district, district and province. After the rubbish round, point to the school's real coloured bins. In the seasons round, ask what season it is now and which comes next. Play it linked to the class and the scores go into the gradebook.

Common sticking points

- Administrative units: sub-district and district are the most common swap. Use the real local names as anchors. - Rubbish round: "sell recyclables" and "dispose of general waste" have no single correct order, so many will miss this; do not treat it as a misconception. - Shopping: "check prices" and "check your money" may swap; in real life they happen together.
