Mathematics
An AR classroom game for Grade 4. Learners can aim with their hands at the camera or play by tapping the screen.
This set has 4 rounds in an interactive ordering activity.
A look before you play
A few real prompts from the game to help you choose an activity for your class.
Compare place by place from the left.
The tops match; the smaller the bottom, the larger the fraction.
Multiply the ones first, because a carry from them affects the next place.
Before you play
Order four-digit numbers made of the same digits, order unit fractions largest first, put the steps of column multiplication in order, and order units of time from shortest to longest.
4 ordering questions - 1099, 1190, 1901, 1910 smallest to largest - 1/2, 1/3, 1/5, 1/8 largest to smallest - Line up the columns, multiply the ones, carry if needed, multiply the tens and add the carry - Second, minute, hour, day
Use to review several topics in one lesson, about 5 minutes, team mode. - For 1099 to 1910, have teams write the numbers in a place-value chart first - After the multiplication steps, teams work 47 × 6 on paper following them - The fractions go largest first, the reverse of many sets; read the instruction first - Play it linked to the class to record results in the mark book
- Swapping 1190 and 1901, which use the same digits. Compare the hundreds, 1 and 9 - Ordering the fractions 1/8, 1/5, 1/3, 1/2, out of smallest-first habit or thinking a bigger bottom number means bigger - Putting "multiply the tens" before "multiply the ones", reading numbers from the left
