Science
An AR classroom game for Grade 3. Learners can aim with their hands at the camera or play by tapping the screen.
This set has 6 questions in an interactive multiple choice activity.
A look before you play
A few real prompts from the game to help you choose an activity for your class.
A cactus stores water in its thick stem so it can survive in the desert.
Light reflects off the object into our eyes.
Metals such as copper conduct electricity well, which is why wires are made of it.
Before you play
A mixed Grade 3 review: how a cactus stores water, how we see, a material that conducts electricity, day and night, protein, and the independent variable. Each item comes from a different unit, so the set is not tied to any single indicator; use it as a general review.
6 questions, multiple choice with three options each - A cactus stores water in its stem - Copper conducts electricity well (distractors rubber, glass) - Day and night come from Earth spinning on its axis (distractor: Earth orbiting the Sun) - Protein builds and repairs the body; the independent variable is what we deliberately change
A review before Grade 3 end-of-term tests, about 5 minutes, solo. Check the gradebook for the most-missed question and replay that topic's own set, such as QS-SCI-P3-EARTH-01 for question 4 or QS-SCI-P3-EXP-01 for question 6. In question 4 the distractor Earth orbiting the Sun is close to the answer, so pause to separate the two. You can link it to a class and record it in the gradebook.
- Question 4: choosing Earth orbiting the Sun, as it is also Earth moving. Recall that spinning makes a day and orbiting makes a year. - Question 1: choosing roots because water is underground. Show a cross-section of a fleshy cactus stem. - Question 6: choosing the result we measure at the end, which is the dependent variable. Use the hook ต้น means the cause.
