What's in the worksheet

4 questions, putting items in order - Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday - Thursday, Friday, Saturday - January, February, March, April - wake up, brush my teeth, eat breakfast, go to school

How to use it in class

Play at the start of a morning lesson instead of the calendar greeting, about 4 minutes, with the whole class saying each day aloud as it is dragged. - For the routine, have four children stand in line and act the steps out before dragging - If the days go wrong, point to a classroom calendar that starts on Sunday - Play it linked to your class so scores go into the gradebook

Common sticking points

- Q1: putting Monday first because the school week starts on Monday. Explain this game uses a calendar starting on Sunday - Swapping Tuesday and Thursday, both starting with T. Read the two aloud side by side - Routine: swapping brush my teeth and eat breakfast, as some families brush after eating. Accept the child's reasoning
