What children will practise

Order words into short statements and a question (I like cats, This is my book, Can you swim?) and put number words in descending order from seventeen, practising subject-verb-object structure.

What's in the worksheet

4 questions, putting items in order - I / like / cats - This / is / my / book - Can / you / swim? - Largest first: seventeen, sixteen, fifteen, fourteen

How to use it in class

A short 3-4 minute game after the can or This is lessons. Have children read each finished sentence aloud together. - In team mode, each member holds one word card and the team lines up at the front before tapping - If the numbers go wrong, count down together from twenty - Play it linked to your class to save scores to the gradebook

Common sticking points

- Can / you / swim? (Q3): ordered as You can swim? because Thai questions keep statement order. Point out the ? attached to swim - Numbers: sorted smallest first out of habit, missing largest first in the prompt - This / is / my / book: some put my after book, following Thai หนังสือของฉัน
