How to use it in class

Use mid-lesson, 4-5 minutes, whole class. After Q2, children ask a friend How many pencils do you have? and count for real. - After Q3, children swap in their own time: I get up at ... - For the months, ask whose birthday falls in this stretch and have them say My birthday is in ... - Play it linked to your class so scores go into the gradebook

Common sticking points

- How many / apples / do you / have? (Q2): ordered as How many do you have apples?, not knowing the noun stays next to How many - There / are / five books / on the table: some put on the table first, following Thai บนโต๊ะมีหนังสือห้าเล่ม - November and December (Q4) get swapped as both end in -ber
