What children will practise

Choose do not or does not for negatives, Do or Is to start a question depending on the sentence, and are not + -ing (indicator ต 1.2 ป.4/1).

What's in the worksheet

6 questions, multiple choice with 3 options - She ___ like fish. Answer: does not - ___ they play football? Answer: Do - ___ he your brother? Answer: Is - They are not ___ now. Answer: playing

How to use it in class

Use after teaching negatives, about 5 minutes, solo. Q4 separates real understanding, as children must notice the sentence has no main verb. - Before Q4, write He is my brother. and ask how to turn it into a question - Afterwards, children say what they do not like (I do not like ...) and what a friend does not (She does not like ...) - Play it linked to your class so scores go into the gradebook

Common sticking points

- ___ he your brother? (Q4): choosing Does because he triggers Does he ...? - ___ they play football? (Q3): choosing Does, thinking it sounds more correct - They are not ___ now (Q5): choosing play, by habit from do not + plain verb
