What children will practise

Practise past participles used in the present perfect and passive (gone, eaten, seen, written), ones that match the past form (bought, taught, made, found), easily confused pairs borrow/lend and bring/take, and what linking words do (ต 1.2 ป.6/1).

What's in the worksheet

4 matching questions, 4 pairs each - Match go to gone and write to written - Match teach to taught and find to found - Match borrow to ยืม and lend to ให้ยืม - Match because to gives the reason and so to gives the result

How to use it in class

Use before a present perfect or passive lesson, 5 minutes in team mode. - For item 1, chant go went gone before tapping - Act out item 3: hand a pencil to a friend (lend), take one from a friend (borrow) - If bring and take go wrong, show that bring moves towards the speaker and take moves away Play it linked to a class and the results go into the mark book. - Use Thai mode: English mode repeats both sides in some questions, so children can match without reading the meaning

Common sticking points

- Item 3: swapping borrow and lend, since Thai uses ยืม for both directions - Item 3: swapping bring and take, both of which can be เอา in Thai - Item 1: pairing eat with seen or see with eaten, as both end in -en
