What children will practise

Sort flying vs swimming animals, Who vs Where questions, parts on the head vs elsewhere, and what people can vs cannot do, practising reading words and short sentences (ต 1.1 ป.2/2).

What's in the worksheet

4 questions, sorting into 2 groups - bird, bee can fly; fish, duck can swim - Who is he? Who are they? ask about a person; Where is it? Where do you live? ask about a place - hair, ear are on the head; hand, foot are not - A person can walk, read; a person cannot fly, live under water

How to use it in class

Use to close a lesson on Who and Where or on can and cannot, about 5 minutes. Play as a whole class and vote by hands before each drag. - For body parts, have children touch their own hair, ear, hand and foot as you say them - If a child objects that ducks can fly too, praise the observation and say this game puts duck with swimmers - Play it linked to your class to record results in the gradebook

Common sticking points

- duck (Q1): dragged to can fly, because ducks really do fly. This is not the child's error; explain before playing - bee: an unknown word for some, so it lands in the wrong group. Tell them it means ผึ้ง - Swapping Who are they? and Where do you live? when reading only the end. Look at the first word, Who or Where
