What children will practise

Read whole hours with o'clock and know the parts of the day, days of the week and today, tomorrow, yesterday and now, to follow instructions that mention time (indicator ต 1.1 ป.2/1).

What's in the worksheet

4 questions, matching 4 pairs each - 2:00 to two o'clock, 8:00 to eight o'clock - afternoon to บ่าย, evening to เย็น - Wednesday to วันพุธ, Friday to วันศุกร์ - tomorrow to พรุ่งนี้, yesterday to เมื่อวาน

How to use it in class

Pair it with a model clock, about 5 minutes, whole class. For Q1, a child sets the clock hands before the class taps. - After Q4, practise Today is Monday. Tomorrow is Tuesday. - In English mode, Q2-Q4 show the same word on both sides (and evening wrongly reads cold), so play in Thai mode - Play it linked to your class to save scores to the gradebook

Common sticking points

- tomorrow and yesterday (Q4) are the most swapped pair. Point forward for tomorrow and back for yesterday - afternoon and evening (Q2) blur because บ่าย runs into เย็น in Thai - Q1 is rarely missed, but the game only has o'clock, so children will not yet manage half past
