What children will practise

Order months across the new year (October to January), the ordinals first to fourth, and the words of She reads books every day and Where does she live? (indicator ต 1.1 ป.3/1).

What's in the worksheet

4 questions, putting items in order - October, November, December, January - first, second, third, fourth - She / reads / books / every day - Where / does / she / live?

How to use it in class

A 4-minute starter in teams. For Q1, point to a calendar to show January belongs to the new year and does not come before October here. - After Q4, children ask and answer Where does your friend live? She lives in ... - Play it linked to your class so scores go into the gradebook

Common sticking points

- Q1: putting January first because it is the first month, missing that the sequence crosses the new year - Where / does / she / live? (Q4): ordered as Where she does live?, as question word order is not yet secure - She / reads / books / every day: some hesitate, seeing reads with an s and thinking it is a plural noun
